Bonjour,
I could not find the marriage record of Landry-Papineau in the data bank of BMS 2000 (over 3 billion marriages). However I found the following:
Children of Adolphe Papineau and Henriette Landry:
Baptized at Trois-Rivières, Parish Immaculée Conception.
1) Marie Alphonsine born Oct 4 1864, baptized Oct 5 1864, godfather François-Xavier Landry, godmother Brigitte Tessier.
2) Joseph-Homère born Dec 14 1865, baptized the same day. godfather François-Xavier Landry, godmother Marguerite Barrette.
3) Marie-Exina born Jan 3 1867, baptized Jan 5 1867. godfather Adolphe Papineau, godmother Cécile Hamel.
4) Joseph-Ezachiel born Sept 11 1868, baptized sept 11 1868 godfather Olivier Alary, godmother Appoline Giroux.
Brigitte Tessier might have got married around 1860 and could be Adélaïde. I would not be surprised that Adolphe and Henriette could have been married in U.S. and came back to Canada (Trois-Rivières). On the other hand, Landry is an Acadian name and they could have been married in the Maritimes (Nova Scotia ou New Brunswick). One track of research could be book of Bona Arsenault about the genealogy of Acadians. In my next visit to the Archives or to the Société de généalogie de Québec (that I am the founder in 1961, 2000 members actually). So it will be easier to correspond directly to my personal address.
Yes I am the author of the Dictionnaire généalogique des descendants de Mathurin Tessier.
Do not hesitate to correspond with me again.
