Tesluk is a close as I can find to Teslik. My great-grandfather Rudolf came from Knezicky, Bohemia, now the Czech Republic in 1905. The word Teslik means 'adze' which a tool for shaping wood. Rudolf was trained as a blacksmith by his father. Many of the Tesliks that came to the US worked as machinists or tool and die makers. They were all very good with their hands and very good carpenters. What kind of trades did Tesluk's work?
