Ernestine came to the USA with her new husband, F. Wilhelm HENNIG abt. 1860's, she was born in Posen in 1852. F. Wilhelm later went by William HENNING. I find the family on 1880 Fed. Census in Winnebago Cty. WI, and later they settled in EauClaire Cty., WI. She had a brother Martin TESKE, who traveled to her 1919 funeral in EauClaire Cty., and he is said in her obit. to have lived in Antigo, WI. at that time. Any links out there? Thank you! Postscript: her youngest son, Henry Henning (my grandfather) stated that she left behind a brother (Martin?) and a "mean stepmother" on leaving what was likely then Prussia.
