Connections to Ronk, Ostrander

In early 1700's the Ostrander family was established in Kingston. Some descendants married those of the Terwilliger family in 18th century.

The index of the Big Book contains close to 200 entries for Terwilliger.

Here is an example of the intertwining...
page 462

Jacobus Ostrander (1770) & Susan Silkwood had twin daughters. Rachel m Robert Terwilliger. Mary m Isaac Barton.

The twins had a younger sister, Phylemina (1811) who married Cornelius Ronk 1830 in New Hurley.

Jacobus (1770) had a brother, Daniel born 1772 New Hurley. Daniel m Elizabeth Terwilliger. No children.

Jacobus(1770) had a sister, Elizabeth (1765-1844) who married Harmanus Terwilliger(1756-1835). .

Elizabeth(1765) had twin daughters. Maria (1787) married Moses Terwilliger.
