I am researching my grandmother, who lived much of her life in Saline County, Illinois but had told us she was an orphan from Birmingham, Alabama. Her name was Lida Lillian Terry and her birthdate was 26 June 1900, or at least close to that. It is possible she was born in/around 1902 since she seems to have consistently stated her age two years younger on census records while still stating her birth year as 1900. Has anyone come across her name in your? I'm not getting anywhere with my research and don't know where else to look for information.
