I'm out in California. This isn't my line at all, but figured that perhaps someone may be looking for these early pioneers to my area:
Seth Taylor married Minerva Terrill. Seth was born 11/15/1782 and died 6/26/1869. Don't have dates for Minerva. According to a monument in the Taylorsville, CA cemetery, Seth and Minerva were early settlers at Susquehanna County, PA. They were married 51 years.
We also have markers for Orren Terrill (1839-1920), Roseltha M. Terrill (1843-1921), and Herbert Terrill (1877-1950). Since they are buried near Seth, I am presuming that they are some relation to Minerva.
Seth and Minerva had a son, Job Terrill Taylor. He was born 3/19/1811 and died 3/5/1878. He married Sophia Hodgkins (1822-1884). Job came to the Taylorsville, CA area from PA in 1850 and returned to found the town of Taylorsville as the first permanent settler in 1852.
If any of these names sound familiar to anyone, please do contact me. I have other information about them, including photos and items of historical signifigance (stored at our museum).
