Thanks to recent responses from Patsy and Michael --- and for the many earlier related ones. Scanning them has been most helpful.
Found in the Vermont Historical Gazeteer that one JOSIAH TERREL of Enosburgh VT in March 1798 'be hog-reefe with swine not to run at large from 6 May until 20 October.' Was this the Josiah born 1771 and later selling land in Rupert?
Is there a list of Arab's children? [the Arab Terrill born ca 1750]?
Is there a list of Jonathan's children? [the Jonathan Terrill who was brother to Josiah b 1805]?
Who are the children of Lewis Terrill, senior who in the 1850 Cambridge VT census is 52 years old, therefore born ca 1798.
Is the child William L age 16, actually the Lewis W for whom I am searching, I wonder. He would have been about 16 or 17 in 1850.
In the 1860 census Lewis W is age 27 is shown with his wife Martha. They were of Cambridge VT, as well.
