Nancy M. Terrill Henderson.

I have been trying to find out where my ancestor, Nancy M. (Terrill) Henderson, was buried. Nancy was born Dec 2 1781, at Culpepper Co., Virginia. She was the daughter of Edmund Terrill and Margaret "Peggy" Willis.
In April, 1803, at Charlottsville, Albemarle Co., Va., Nancy was married to Rev. Thomas Henderson, 1781-1846. They were in Boone Co., Kentucky by 1808. They were members of Bullittsburg Baptist Church, at Boone Co., from 1808 until May, 1812, when Thomas Henderson and wife Nancy requested a letter of dismission from the church. Rev. Henderson had been one of two preachers at this church, and was an active member in good standing. I believe the Hendersons left Boone County at this time and traveled south to Scott County. In Scott County, Thomas Henderson preached at a few churches. He was associated with the Forks of Elkhorn Church, the Great Crossing Baptist Church, and the Stamping Ground Baptist Church.
This is the area the henderson's were active while Nancy lived out the last years of her life. Rev. Henderson was superintendant of the Choctaw Academy, a school for the education of young Indian boys. This school was in operation from 1824-1842.
Nancy died Aug 27 1826. At this time they were living on the farm, "Blue Springs", owned by Col. Richard M. Johnson. This farm was located near Stampimg Ground, I think. Nancy may have been buried in the cemetery at Stamping Ground Baptist Church. She may have been buried at the Great Crossing Baptist Church. I don't know. My next problem is, that I can't understand why she was not given a stone of good enough quality, it should have stood the test of time. I don't know what the dates on the oldest stones in those two cemeteries are. I would think a stone of reasonable consequence, placed in the year 1826, might survive a couple hundred years.
I have never been able to find anything surviving in the way of old family letters, bible records, (Which brings the question of where the Bible of Thomas Henderson went after he died)diaries, etc. Henderson, in all his letters to the Department of War, in Washington D.C., never mentions the death of his wife. He was married just over a year later, in 1827, to his second wife, Hannah McClure.
If anyone has any kind of record, or access to a record of where my ggggg-grandmother, Nancy M. Terrill Henderson, was buried, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Most sincerely,
Anthony Lewis
