Here's what we have for Sophia - born in France on 2/22/1845 (date per VT death records). Her father, Gabrielle (born 1789, France), brought her to Sorel, Quebec, Canada when 6 mos old. Her mother had died at birth, and no name was listed for her. Sophia married Toussaint on 7/30/1865 at age 18(?) - again in the Richmond records (Our records shows 1863). They had 11 children. Toussaint died on 12/31/1913, was buried on 1/1/1914. Sophia died on 6/16/1938 and was buried on 6/18/1938.
Our family records say Gabreille had 5 daughters - Millisey, Florney, Deiley, Margaret, and Sophia. No other info.
We looked at burial records in Richmond. Says Toussaint, Alfred Francis, Adelaide Tatro and Josephine Constance were buried in plot N8, St Mary Cemetery, Richmond. We did not find a stone for them. We did find Terrien stone in N6 for Anthony L., Mary Agnes Dower and Catherine Agnes. Is it possible they are next to each other and no names ever engraved? We don't know. We took pictures of all the Terrein and Dower headstones we could find in both St Mary and Holy Rosary Cemeteries.
Just out of curiosity, where are you driving from to go to Vermont? We are in Springfield, MA.
Drop a line when you return and we can work out pictures. Safe trip!
