Do you have a list of this John's children so maybe i can just overlook others in the area that might have the same name?
i've found a couple of other John's but they're the wrong age to have married Mary Elliott so i'm stumped kinda...
Just taking a stab in the dark by the census of 1870, so bear with me, IF Mary Hord died after Levi was born being 9 and there's a 7 yr gap in which he could have married Mary Elliott and then had Zymeri and John, thus appearing on the census. Then she, Mary munber two, dies Feb 27th 1875 and he moves in with the dau.
Maybe the two youngest children died too? Have you been able to find them?
Maybe someone has the Elliott cemetery list there in Martin County? i know there are Terrell's listed there, just not sure what ones. if i remember correctly, it's in Halbert Twp, close to the Lawrence county line. Been a long time since i was there. i only have a partial list.
Maybe someone has a marriage list? That might help! :)
Did find Joseph/Josiah and Kitty Elliott Terrell's family tho i haven't found them in the 1900 census...
