1870 Lawrence Co, Ind.

John Terrill, b. May 1815, Ind.; d. 1905. M. Mary Ann Hoard on 11 Dec 1843 at Lawrence Co, Ind.

Isam Terrill is their son. James Marley is married to Nancy Terrill, sister of Isam.

Joseph Terrill b. 1846, d. after 1910, married Kitty ___ and lived in Martin Co, Ind. The complete name of the wife is new to me. Joseph was a son of John Terrill, above.

The 1850 John Terrill is the same John Terrill (above). I don’t know why he is shown as N.C. He was actually born in Indiana. His father was born in Kentucky. His grandfather could have been born in Kentucky or Virginia, and his great-grandfather was born in Virginia.

Joseph last appears (to the extent of my research) in the 1910 census as follows: Indiana, Lawrence Co, Huron Ward 1, ED 109., Fam ** (Spool 364): Terrell, Joseph (farmer). He had 6 children.

Don Terrill
