Probably dau. Richmond Terrell (b. 1755, Granville Co, N.C.; d. 13 Feb 1827, Lancaster Co, S.C.) and Catherine __ (d. 1790-1800) or other wife Mary __. Could also be dau. of Richmond’s brother William Terrell (b. 6 Aug 1760, Neuse River, N.C.; d. 4 Jul 1851, De Kalb Co, Ga.) (spouse unk.).

Neither of them are known to have a daughter named Jane, but the records are so incomplete we cannot be sure. We find a couple of Terrrell-Hilton marriages (in Lancaster Co) in the next generation of that Terrell family.
