I have been reading histories of the Terrell and Lynch families and came across this Quaker History of Lynchburg, VA by Ed Marsh on the internet.

There seems to be some confusion about them, and I wondered if this might be a possible clarification.

Charles Lynch married Sarah Clarke, daughter of Capt. Christopher Clarke. Charles Lynch died in 1753, leaving Sarah a 38-year old widow with six children. ONE Micajah Terrell married Sarah Lynch in 1754 (the year after Charles Lynch died). Could he have married the widow Sarah Clarke Lynch?
