My name is Steve Terrace.My father is Colin Maxwell Terrace
who was born in Glasgow on 26/3/1915.He was married on1/6/1944 to Lucy Sykes at Silkstone Common near barnsley.He has just celebrated his 88th birthday.
His father was Robert Maxwell Terrace born 11/2/1886 at 146 Rotten Row Glasgow.He married Sarah Ann Catherine Matheson on25/6/1909 at 180,Berkley st,Glasgow.He died on 27/1/1923 at 7,Ralstone Terrace,Glasgow.He was a Compositor.His father was David Terrace born about 1840 at Uphall nr Stirling.He married Helen Maxwell on 7/12/1860 at the United Presbyterian Church,Avonbridge,Stirling.
He died on the 10/9/1905 at 146,Rotten Row,Glasgow.He was a Railway incline brakesman.I only know his father was also called david and he was married to Janet Mackay Hamilton. I hope this is of use to you.
