We have no doubt that your intentions are unimpeachable...but unfortunately the "proof" you provided that was submitted to the Olive Tree genealogy website in 1998 citing Zabriskie's "Stoothoff family" has been totally discredited.
It is counter-productive that it be continually circulated via the web. It is my understanding that there was no ship named "der Vrede" (Truth) arriving in 1637 supposedly carrying Elbert Elbertse (Stoothoff).
