Hi Kathleen Just noticed your Dec. 24, 09 inquiry. Lorenzo was a brother of my great grandfather, Panfilo Teran. Among other siblings, they had a sister, Sofia, who married Jose Orona in 1885. Their full surname was Teran Loya. Their father was Trinidad Teran and their mother, Refugio Loya. Around 1910, many Teran family members migrated from San Lorenzo, Chihuahua to El Paso, and some(including Lorenzo & his daughter Clara) moved to Los Angeles (Boyle Heights). Lorenzo was a barber and Clara had a beauty shop. Clara had 2 children, Carlos, who died last year at age 93, and Julietta, who if still alive, lives in a convalescent home in Santa Barbara. Before reading your posting, I had never heard of Joseph M. Teran. Was he a son of Lorenzo and brother of Clara? Do you have an email address?
