I am searching for a William Tennis and his progenitors. He was born reportedly in 1755 in Bedford, VA. He has a son named John Tennis and a daughter named Catherine Tennis/Tinnis.

William served in the Revolutionary War. I believe William died in Ohio.

Catherine married William Maddox/Mattox November 1, 1795 in Franklin County.
