I have petitioned for information twice already, but I thought that I'd give it another try. I am lookin for a Charles Howard Tennis (a lot of records are recorded Howard Tennis) married to a Goldie Liotta Hayhurst. Her parents names are George Washington Hayhurst and Ida Garner. I may be at a unbreakable brick wall on this one. The family story goes that Tennis is not the original family name. It was supposedly changed to avoid scandal. Apparently, one of the wives found out that her husband was cheating and she shot him. They changed their name to Tennis to get away from the scandal.
