I'm not related to the Ten Eyck family, although I've shared info about them before and feel like a relative! I had the Last Will and Testament of Jacob Ten Eyck from Iowa, and today stumbled across another reference to Ten Eyck, this time for Iowa and Wisconsin.

In the 1915 Past and Present of Shelby Co., IA, history, in a bio for George FISH, it states:

Son of Nathan and Clarice (Lyon) Fish, born Feb 16, 1846, in Summit County, Ohio. Parents were natives of Cayuga and Onondaga Counties, NY, respectively, Nathan leaving that state when young and moving to Warren Co., PA in 1822, opening a lumber business. Nathan FISH married Clarice LYON in 1832 in Warren Co., PA. She was daughter of Jeremiah LYON, a native of NY and soldier in War of 1812. Clarice died in 1881, after having ten children, six who survived at the time of the bio. George M. FISH, son of Nathan and Clarice, went from Ohio to Illinois to Wisconsin, and to Shelby Co., Iowa. George Fish married in 1867 in Lafayette Co., Wisconsin, to Rachel I. GRAY, daughter of Socrates GRAY, who was born in Onondaga Co., NY, 1808. Rachel Gray was born in Boone Co., NY, Jan 18, 1846. SOCRATES GRAY MARRIED ANNA M. TEN EYCK, who was born in NY in 1815 and died in Wisconsin in 1853. I hope this is helpful.
