I am trying to locate the family of an Eleanor Ten Eyck (b.ca.1740 NJ) who m. William Gearhart (1746-1825) and moved with him to Northumberland Co., Pa. I am doing research for a book on ths family.
When William served in the Rev. War, he and his bro. Jacob served with a Capt. Ten Eyck, who could be her father. Would appreciate leads to this Capt. Ten Eyck, as well.
