No Templeton DNA testing to my knowledge. My father's sister left no issue; my son is adopted. I have no one in my line who could be tested. My father's uncle had only one daughter, to my knowledge. Her place of death or issue is unknown. mrman@sbcglobal.net maintains a Templeton data base; he may know of some DNA testing. I do know Absalom Joel Templeton had many sons, so expect they spread all over TN & NC. One, my great-great-grandfather, Absalom Gray Templeton, emigrated to Missouri and became a preacher; he died in Cole Co, MO. His son, my great-grandfather Prior Masterson Templeton, settled in Pocahontas, AR following his tour of duty with the 4th Missouri Cavalry, CSA. His son, my grandfather, Wade Anderson Templeton, was born there. My father was born in Jonesboro, AR and I in Little Rock.
