Jack, from the book I mentioned earlier there is only one possible connection which has been established between the northern and southern NC Templetons. There was a Thomas Templeton who seems to have lived, for some periods, in both areas. No direct connection has been made as to which family he belonged to. A possible son of the James Templeton Senior of Iredell County, but unproven. He married Mary Wigfield and later moved to Indiana.
