Hello Ruth, I am descended from the Carlby Templemans, and have been doing a one name study on the Templemans for about 10 years now. According to my research in Carlby and its area, Thomas 1742-1820 of Carlby, son of Wm&Ann married Ann Jackson in 1772, and had a son, Thomas (1784-1830) who married Liz Haynes in Ryhall in 1801. Mick Cooney descends from them, as do several others.
For family tree: 19 Holcombe Close, LE67 5BR
