Does anyone know when Katherine Tempest, daughter of Sir Roger Tempest and Ann Carr, was born?? Also, who she married. Most list her as being Thomas Maude's wife, yet I've seen some instances where they list an "Arthur" Maude as her husband. Thomas was born in 1500...or thereabouts. The closest Arthur Maude I can see was born in 1520 (see below), yet I cannot find any records of him being her husband.
1514 seems to be a popular year for her date of birth, yet it's only an approximate date...an "about". Given that she was supposed to have two sons named Arthur (b. 1520) and Christopher (b. 1521), she would have to be at least 14-15 years old. Unless, of course, that is an error on the part of previous studies.
