You probably have very little info on Elvira because her maiden name was "Tilley". She was my husband's second great aunt. (His line is through Elvira's youngest brother, William Henry Clay Tilley.) And I have your Andrew Thomas as "Thomas A.". I have a little more you can add on Elvira's side if you want to email me.

I've heard rumors there is Cherokee and Choctaw blood in the Tilley line, but I have not been able to find it. The only way Elvira could have been full Cherokee is if she was adopted, and I doubt that would be the case. But I haven't been able to go past Elvira's mom and dad, William Henry Tilley and Mary M. (Mattox) Tilley.
