Dear David,

Thank you for your last two messages. We are fascinated by what we now know. We always remembered Grandad's (George Arthur Thomas) sister Elizabeth but thought there was only one other. When we read the name Daisy, we realised she was our Dolly!! We thought she was Grandad's other sister, not his neice! How the years and names get muddled in your brain! We are interested to know the ages of Grandad's other sisters. He was born in 1879 and died in 1968. Do you know the birth/death dates of the others? Did you ever visit any other relatives in Edinburgh? We spent all out childhood holidays there. Yes, our father was Jim and we're interested to know if you found that out from the Telfer side of the family.? Grandad and his sister Elizabeth kept in touch until her death and then aftrwards he kept in touch with Stephen Telfer (Ian's father).

Look forward to your reply,
Mary & Catherine
