Pat, you don't state a question...but if you're trying to find out who these people are, I have a theory. The wife of George Luther Teets (1881-1967) was Ella Nora Horner ("Ella"?). I'm wondering if "Teetsville" was just slang for an area of Preston County where several of these Teets families lived. Neither Teetsville nor Hannersville are real towns in WV as far as I can tell. The "Lizzie" could be George Luther Teets mother, Sarah Elizabeth Freeland. Contact me at for more info. Also refer to my web site at

Hope this helps, tell me what you think,
John Teets
