Peter Teeple's Parents? 1762, NJ
Peter Teeple was born at (probably) Bordentown, NJ in 1762.So far I have seen a lot of speculation about who his parents were, but what I really want is to see a baptism record, mention of the family in church records, governmental records, a family bible, etc.
Many have speculated that his father was George Teeple. We know from the journal of the Pluckemin store kept by Jacob Vosseller that there were at least 3 gentlemen named George Teeple in the period 1768-1775: "George Teeple (constable), George Teple (Litle), George Teple (son of Litle)"

1.Does anyone out there have access to a copy of the original Journal of Vosseller's Pluckemin Store?
2.Are church records of the pre-revolutionary period from Sommerset County available anywhere?
3.Has anyone found what they consider to be proof of the parentage of Peter Teeple, UEL?
