I don't think anyone has uncovered this discrepancy in the records concearning the two wives of Jesse Bartlett Teed. In 1851 the family is enumerated as: 1851 census - Woodstock, Carleton Co., NB: Jesse TEID, 52, b. New Brunswick, Farmer Jane, wife, 44, b. NB Hariett, 21, b. NB Bartlett, 17, b. NB Agnes, 15, b. NB Mary J., 13, b. NB Eliza A., 5, b. NB Alonzo, 2, b. NB notice Jane, is 44, placing her birth at about 1807. Harriet Dickenson was baptised 21 SEP 1797 Woodstock Anglican Church and married to Jesse 31 Jan 1820. Also, Alonzo could never have had Harriet as a mother if he was born in 1849. Who is this Jane?? Do any of you have marriage records for Woodstock which might cover the 1830-1849 period? Or even cemetary records which would give us a date of death for Harriet Dickenson, so we may know which children belong to Jane. Thanks for any help on this :) Jim Notify Administrator about this message?
