Sorry it took me so long to respond to your ?? As for where I live, it is in Azusa, about 25 miles east of L.A. I don't recall whether or not we had talked earlier, but since I was last in this message board I have learned that yes, The Tedrows of Somerset Co are definitely from the Johan Michael Dotterer line. That would be the grandfather of the Johan Michael you mentioned in your messages. Our Emigrant ancestor came to America ca. 1717-1721-22. Anyway Johan Michael Dotterer and his wife Margaret Syssler and their family last appear in the German records in Stebbach, Baden Germany in 1717, when their last son and also the last child born in Germany was baptized. He is listed as Matthuas in the Church records but his name is actually Michael. They had a daughter, Wilhelmina who was either born on the voyage to America or after their arrival. She married (1) Rudolph Marolph, and had two children by him that we know of.He died ca 1748 and she married (2) Adam Reitenauer. They migrated down to Frederick Co., Maryland ca. 1763, along with your Johan Michael's brother Johan George Dotterer and aslo some descendants of the George Philip Dotterer line. There is a lot of confusion as to just who is who down there, but you will find that a lot of the lines staretd going by the name of Dutro and Dutrow and such.Hope this fills you in some.
