Hi Jack,

This response comes almost five years after your post, so I do not know if you will get this or not. I am one of your cousins, but I am not sure of the relationship. My grandfather was Alvine Tecklenburg. His father was Herman Tecklenburg and his monther was Louise (Eklund) Tecklenburg. I have a picure of you and your brothers when you were very young. It is my understanding that one of your brothers was stationed in the Pacific during WWII. I believe I have a letter written from my grandfather during that time that discusses your brother (of was it you?) I appoligize if this is a little flippant. I could in no way know the trials of those times.

The last living person of my grandfather's generation that is still here in Lodi is Gwen Tecklenburg. Her husband Walter (my grandfather's brother) passed within the past few years. Gwen is now 94, but you'd think she was no older than 80. She's amazing.

Anyway, I hope that you get this and that you are well.

Most Sincerely,

Cheri A. Smith
