Hello All,
Still searching for one of my Great Aunts: Nellie Tebbutt. Born 1883 St. Albans, Herts. Almost immediately (following death of her mother) went to live with maternal Grandparents at Aldenham, Herts. It is believed she returned to St. Albans following deaths of Grandparents.
Family statements say:
1. She married & went to Canada
2. She married " a Victor" or "a Vicar"
3. She married a "Harvey"
4. He may have been a Canadian Soldier over here (England) for WW1.
Any or none of these may be correct. Have searched marriage registers with no success.
Has anybody got any knowledge, recollections, ideas, etc.
