What a joy to find this group! My connection is through William and Permelia. They were in Roane County in 1900. However, his name was listed as Weston W. Teasley.

Permelia was first married to Archibald Haynes August 31, 1876 in Pulaski County, KY.
You made reference to Arthur Weasley Teasley, I believe Austin Haynes and Arthur are one in the same. No listing for Arthur on the 1900 census. Evidently, seeing your marriage info for him, he took Teasley as his last name eventually.
Bertie, who was in this household in 1900, was the daughter of George Mallicote and Eliza Huddleston. Eliza died, and Bertie and her sister Bertha went to live with relatives for a while.
George Mallicote was the son of Nancy Teasley
circa 1830 (listed as age 40 in the 1870 Roane census) and Thomas Mallicote.
Now, who is Nancy? And what is her relationship to William Martin aka Weston W.?
