I have ample documentation of John and Silas Teasley's presence in Bute Co, NC, Franklin Co, NC/TN, and Washington Co, TN (probably all the very same locale) and think my ancestor, Priscilla Teasley (who married Lemuel Rucker at Elbert Co, GA, in 1825) could have been the daughter of Silas. John's daughter Priscilla married a Tyner and then a Parker, so she is not a prospect. If William or Silas had a daughter Priscilla, I haven't found proof yet--hope that somebody has and will share the information. John and his wife (Lucy Hunt) and several children moved to Montgomery Co, TN, where he is buried.
