It's amazing how much "family tradition" is floating around out there. John Teasley was supposed to arrive on the ship AMITY. But I have yet to find solid evidence of it. The first record we have of John Teasley in Isle of Wight Co, VA is the 1702 land entry for Southside Blackwater. I don't know where the 1694 date came in, but it is probably close to the true immigration date.
