Re: TEAS IN ARKANSAS

My TEAS ancestors moved to Independence Co., Arkansas in the 1880's. They were Robert and Amanda Teas and their children: Sarah Ann, Eliza Snow, Robert Louella, James Joseph, Francis Marion, and William Samuel.

James Joseph Teas never moved to Arkansas, though. He lived in died in Humphreys Co., TN.

Francis Marion Teas and William Samuel Teas both moved to Denison, TX (Grayson Co.) as young men and died there.

The other children were all girls, so it is unlikely that your Teas and mine are related, however I thought I'd check and see what more you knew of your family. The name is not that common. Do you know who the parents of your James Howell Teas were?

You can contact me directly at Jaimed1211@aol.com if you wish.

Jaime
