Elijah Teague 1763-1843 Benton Co., Ala

My GGGGGG grandfather was Elijah TEAGUE, b. September 02, 1767 and died February 11, 1843 in Benton County, Alabama, who married Sarah MORGAN, b. December 18, 1768 and d. March 02, 1850 in Benton County, Alabama. I was told that Elijah TEAGUE was the son of Joshua TEAGUE, b. 1732, bur this is not correct as I was at the Teague Museum in Teague, Texas this weekend and in one of the many volumes I saw that my Elijah TEAGUE was possibly a son of Elijah TEAGUE, b. May 01, 1726 in Cecil County, Maryland. I have seen several post that state that this is the correct link. However, I also have seen several other posts including a workup by the DAR that stated my Elijah TEAGUE was a son of Joshua TEAGUE, b. 1744 and wife of Dorothy (UNKNOWN). I tried to make a copy of Elijah TEAGUE's will at the museum but the gentleman said they had no copy machine. I'll go back next time better prepared. I am amazed at all the TEAGUE family info there. I would appreciate any help in leading me to the correct parents of Elijah TEAGUE.
While I am at it, does anyone know if William TEAGUE, b. 1693 was really married to LOFTIN, or PENNINGTON. I saw a couple of deeds of William TEAGUE that mentioned a PENNINGTON.
My line runs through Edward > William > Elijah (?) > Elijah > Joshua > James > Stacy.
I'll be glad to share all info that I have.
Thanks,
Mark
