I find a William A. Teague age 30 living in Hernando, DeSoto Co., MS. at household number 208. He is quite well off for the time, with a real estate value of #3,600 and a personal estate of $12,605. He was born in TN. E. M. Teague age 33 born in England, I presume is his wife. I believe he is the son of Joshua A. Teague who also lives in Hernando, DeSoto County, Mississippi although he has not been given as a son by researchers.

Joshua A.Teague is at household 213, listed as J. A. Teague age 59 born in SC, his wife is listed as E. M. Teague age 56 b. VA (Elizabeth Miller Teague). Children in the home are R. M. a female age 14 born in AL, A. J. a male age 13 born in AL, Rob't age 18 born in AL. All the children were born in Benton/Calhoun Co., AL.

Living next door to Joshua is Mat V. Gray and his wife Almira C. Teague and their children. Almira being the dtr. of Israel Teague and Unity Miller.

Israel and Joshua A. Teague were brothers.

The only other Teague family in DeSoto Co., MS were J. F. Teague age 25 a male born TN, an Emma Teague age 17 born LA. (were these husband and wife, or siblings of Wm. A. Teague, and how to they connect to these other Teagues?)
Also in the home is Lucy Browning age 12 born in MS, Henry Browning age 9 born in MS, Willliam Browning age 7 born in MS., Lawrence Browning age 4 born in MS. and J. A. Teague a male age 3 mos. born in MS.

The next two homes are Millers who were born in SC. I believe these Millers are part of the Miller/Teague clans, but at this time don't know for sure.

If anyone can place William A. Teague with a family I would appreciate it.
