(One of my Teague lines is through one of John Teague and Martha Ledford's daughters.)
Jimmy Carter is not, so far as I know, himself a Teague descendant, but Miss Lillian was a Loftin descendant, as are a great many of Moses Teague's descendants (by his first wife, Elizabeth Loftin).
If the group which maintains that Moses' mother was originally Isabella Loftin rather than Isabella Pennington is correct, then all of Moses' descendants -- as well as those of all his brothers and sisters -- are Loftin descendants as well.
For Carter's ancestry, you can check Gary Boyd Roberts' book on the ancestries of American presidents (down to Bush the First), and similar sources.
