Searching for information on this Rose family. They were from the Greene County- Wayne County, N.C. area possibly from around the Eureka area. If anyone has any information at all on this family please contact me at Thanks

1. James Rose d. abt. 1889 m. Mary Carraway daughter of James and Sarah Carraway.
Notes: After James death Mary married Joseph (Joe) Teacher or Teachey in 1900 in Greene County.
Children of James and Mary :

I. John Wright Rose b. April 26, 1874, d. May 22, 1938, m. Cora Virginia Walston b. Nov. 6, 1876, d. April 9, 1944. John and Cora were married in Wilson County Nov. 27, 1895.
Notes: John and Cora are buried at Maplewood Cemetery in Wilson, N.C.
They had children Bertha, Bertie, Irene, and J.C.(John Curtis)

II. Hardy Rose b. Dec. 20, 1890, d. Jan. 29, 1965, m. Minnie E?? b.Nov. 11, 1893, d. Feb. 14, 1965
Notes: Hardy and Minnie are buried at the Pikeville Town Cemetery
They had children, Arhie(owned a trucking company in Goldsboro.), Minnie Ruth who married Ed Howell, Haywood, Pauline, and Lucy.

III. Bushion Rose who married Liety Jones

IV. Ann (or Nann) Rose who married William Walston
