Fairly certain of the date; as it was in Bible as 1837.This marriage to Catherine was his 2nd.I do not think he was actually married in IL because Catherine and Jacob's children were born in MD and OH but they (Catherine and Jacob) did live and die in IL.Funny thing is the first 3 children were b Lorain Co., OH and Victor was b. MD near PA state line; then the last child was supposed to be born IL.Most of their children were buried in Como Cemetery and one child is buried in Sterling, IL.Victor is buried in Carroll, IA.It seems the Teach line is the only one where we've found a connection as far as 'place' goes.I'll try to come up with more info for you.Thanks for your reply. sharon
