Yes, I would enjoy sharing information. However, the only additional information I can add is that it appears my Stephen Taynor served as a private in the Union Army. He mustered into Co. A of the 40th Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry at Camp Chase, Ohio (near Columbus) at the age of 37. He mustered out on 08 Dec 1864 in Nashville, TN.

At the time of my original research, I was unable to locate any census information in Ohio on him. I would love to see what you found on the family in Fayette Co., OH.
