Family Finder DNA

Hello,

I am still searching for my grandsons' and son-in-law's Taylor ancestors. His 3rd g-grandparents were Martha Featherston and John W. Taylor of Maury Co., TN. She died between 1870 and 1880 because John married Mary C. Stamps Workman on 29 Dec 1874 in Maury Co. Two of Martha and John W. Taylors sons [Albert and Graves] moved to Gibson Co., TN and John must have moved with them. I found their death certificates in the old TN death certificates at Family Search. They are buried in the Spring Hill Cemetery and there is also a John W. Taylor, born 1830, died 16 May 1909 buried there.

My son-in-law's mother recently participated in the Family Finder DNA study through Family Tree DNA. She has no Taylor matches as yet. The Family Finder program is for both males and females. It would be great if some of you Taylors would participate in this study. Go to:

familytreedna.com

and click on Family Finder.

I would love to hear from anyone who knows something about these folks. Please contact me here or at clarksha@verizon.net. Thanks.
