Dear James,
Sooo glad to here from you so soon! Hope everything is great with you! Ya know, Grand-pa was always saying his mothers side of the family was whelch(?) and danish ( he would struggle to not say dutch because he would mean danish but sometimes dutch would come out first when he meant danish ). He said his fathers side was French and seemed quite definite about that. But I just wonder if he had it backwards and it was the other way around.

I would so badly like to get the overseas connection. Just the history of it ya know.
Anyway I took down the info on getting a copy of Micah Tauls memoirs. Might get them someday.(Curious)

I thought maybe I would throw something out there to you, just to get an opinion. We have a picture of grandpa with his mother, grandpa looks to be in his twenties. I cannot help seeing a strong Jewish nationality (resemblance). My mom and aunts can't help but see it too! What do you think? I realize that people can resemble other people in the world but could this be a possibility? Could it explain the reason the Taul family history is lost or at least so scattered? What do ya think?

ttys,
Cousin Deana
