The Van Tatum in our family died in 1923, so this is not the same Van Tatum. Back in 1999, I was trying to help another person search for her Van Tatum (message number 189 gives some info on him). He was from Oklahoma City. We had no success at that time; the 3 we found were deceased. She may have had some luck later on, though.
Our Van was Van Ernest Tatum, son of James P and Nancy Tatum. He was born in Texas but lived a great deal of his life in Sentinel, Washita County, Oklahoma. James P Tatum and other family members did live in Oklahoma City in the 1920s and later, though.
Too bad we could not connect.
