I have George w. Tatom in my family. He was born in Miss in 1823. He married Nancy ?? in 1850.Nancy was born in 1829, they had a son Walter born 1/9/1885 he died 9/11/1924. They had another son (my great grand father) Samuel Plummer Taton born 2/2/1852 in Sabine Par, LA he Married Ella Elizabeth Dent (born 6/9/1855 in AL. They were married in 1870 in Sabine Co. TX. Ater Samuel Plummer died, Ella Elizabeth married Henry J. Solly ( Samuel Daniel's Father) He died 8/19/1889 and she died 8/28/1939 both in Sabine Co. TX. I can't find my list of their children, but one of their daughters, Margaret Emma Tatom (b. 7/27/1885, d. 6/16/1956 in Jasper co. TX) was my grandmother, she married Samuel Daniel Solly on 11/2/ 1903. They had children: Jo Ella, Plummer, Fred, Leon (my father) and 2 other children that died young, and I cannot find their names.
