I am looking for information on Rebecca Tate. She was born in about 1758 in North Carolina and was married twice. First marriage was to John Mearro/Morrow on 14 September, 1774 in Rowan county, North Carolina and had two daughters: Polly born about 1775 in N.C. and Rebecca born about 1777 in N.C.
Second marriage was to David Maxwell on 29 October, 1785 and had 8 children: Nancy 1786-?, Johnny 1788-1866, Betty Tate 1790-?, Sarah "Polly" 1795-?, Margaret "Peggy" 1797-prior to 1829, Annah Tate 1800-?, Letitia "Letty" 1802-?, Betsy Linn 1803-? all in North Carolina.
I would like to know when she died and where (I assume it was in Rowan county, N.C.)
