Hi Tony,
Yes I would like to exchange info.
As I stated previously, this is not my line but that of my wifes maternal family, which I am researching for her. I have so far managed to take the Taskers back to Thomas Tasker who married a Jane also called Susannah Tebb in 1800 at Quadring and left numerous issue who settled in Quadring, Gosberton, Freiston and Holbeach, Lincolnshire. Many of the Quadring and Gosberton Taskers would appear later to have migrated to the Nottinghamshire area to places such as Blidworth and Hucknall. My wifes maternal family are the Cross family of Deeping Fen and Gosberton who also decamped to Notts. (Eastwood and Greasley) before returning to Lincolnshire (Skegness). John Tasker (1807 - 61) of Quadring left with other issue Susan/Susannah (1839-83) of Gosberton who married 1859, Gosberton, Joseph Cross (1834-89) of Deeping Fen. These are the parents of my wifes great grandfather William Cross (1861-1939) of Gosberton.
So as you can see my wifes ancestry and relations are very much tied up with the Taskers of Gosberton.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Regards,
John
