Hi,
I am researching the name of TASKER from the following areas. Brindle, Wigan, and Leyland areas of Lancashire.
The names I have is Thomas TASKER born Whittle-Le Woods Lancashire 1856 married Martha Annie BROADBENT
The father of Thomas was James TASKER born cira 1832 in Brindle and married Mary LINGARD in Leyland 1854.
The father of James was another James TASKER who married Margaret . They were born around 1812.
I am connected to the line of the TASKER through my grandmothers mother being Mary Margaret TASKER born (1885) in Australia
and marrying Thomas James COBB
If anyone has any information on James and Mary from Leyland and James and Margaret I think they were from Brindle.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone connected to the above family.
