Looking for ancestry and descendants of George Tasker, b. NH about 1847, died before 1 June 1900. He married Susie Ella Cates (aka Scates) before 1874. She was born in Dec 1853 in Maine, daughter of John Scates and Sarah Boynton. Their children were:
1. Emma M. Tasker, b. Dec 1875, Maine, m. Ernest L. Young.
2. William Henry Tasker, b. 11 Jul 1878 in Lawrence, Essex County, MA, d. Jul 1963 in Massachusetts. He married Charlotte A. ____.
3. Walter Tasker, b. Feb 1887 in Massachusetts.
Two other children died young.
In 1880, the family is residing in Lawrence, Essex County, MA. Susie Tasker is listed as a widow in 1900 and living in Worcester City, MA with daughter Emma. She moved to San Diego, CA sometime before 1910 and died after 1930 in California.
